Brewers are honored for their hard work and dedication to craft, and thousands of happy festival-goers - who were able to taste the prize - are then honored at one of the world's biggest beer festivals. This list would be completely incomplete without some obvious decisions, but it is truly the largest beer festival of its kind in North America. The Great American Beer Festival is a three-day annual event organized by the Brewers Association of Denver, Colorado. The flyover took place in September at the Denver Colorado Convention Center and was home to a whopping 800 breweries serving more than 3,800 beers. The Portland Craft Beer Festival takes place on the Fourth of July weekend at Fields Park. Founded in 1988, the Oregon Brewers Festival will this year showcase Oregon craft beer and cider for the first time since its inception in 1990.
